I'm wanting to breed some plecos. I already have an 204 so I'm going to go with them for one choice I wanted to get ideas for one more choice. One that is not that difficult would be best....and not a bristle nose. Something that doesn't get to large would be best also.

i also have a 114 but I'm not sure if it's a good choice or not.

thanks In Advance

Many plecos are hard to breed except bn. I would suggest 183, they stay small, looks cool too. L114 gets big so u will need big tank to attempt, if u have small one right now, your looking at few years for maturity. Even if u have 1m and 1f, no guarantee. Good luck

+1. I had a 12" L600 and 12" L114 in a 120 at one point, and it was cramped.

Phantom has been done but very rare and tough, start out easier, like I said 183 should be a good start, they are tough to bed too, I think zebras have been breed more than most of the rarer ones, as far as I know no one ever breed gold nuggets yet. I haven't even seen an adult one that is being size yet.
