Ok my Albino is eating frozen blood worms, but he always seems to be teh last one to the table if you know what I mean. The other fish are picking off the bloodworms faster than he can drag his Azz to the table. So what should I feed him? Is there something the other fish wont eat tha only he will? He's only about 3 inches and is very young. He has an appetite, just not as much as some of the Leopard Ctenopomas

My guys get lots of Omega One shrimp pellets, Hikari carnivore pellets, bloodworms, beefheart, any and all kinds of raw seafood(shrimp, scallops, fish, etc...) nightcrawlers, just about anything really.

Ok, seriously, not trying to be funny here. But i'm a serious sport fishing guy. I litterally have 100lbs of seafood in the deep freeze. Should I just thaw out some Halibut, or Tuna steaks for him? Again I'm serious not trying to be funny. I didnt know that I could feed them saltwater fish filets.

Wont that make my ammonia sky rocket though?

Hell yeah, that stuff would awesome, no dyes or hormones and what not. Any left-overs need to be removed to prevent ammonia of course.

Great thanks, just put a small piece of Pacific Snapper in there and he went nutz. I grabbed it and started shaking it like a Pitbull. Only he wasnt big enough to tear a chunk off. So I ended up cutting it into itty bitty parts for him ;) Then he took care of them. Looks like we found a winner. :grinno:

hell yeah, i give mine snook/redfish/whatevericatch fillets all the time.

Yea i usually feed mine raw fish when we go out on the boat..........for now their staple diet is krill though...............

Alot of Bichirs like to eat more towards the night time. I feed mine krill alot. They would probably love to go to town on any of the foods you mentioned in your freezer.

all of my fish eat raw market shrimp or raw prawns, i usually power feed the fat azzes on top first (i.e. my 4 pbass, my 2 baramundis) and then when i see that they stop hitting everything i drop in there, i just drop a good amount and let it sink to the bottom, the bichirs usually hit it right away, they get their sittings worth..

Thanks for the info! My Gold Dust thanks you!
