what puffers make the best community fish

I have 3 tanks in mine..one African river one Asian river and one south American river..all the fish will be medium size...we are talking mollys and tetras...for the SA tank and bush fish and knife fish for the African tank and gouramis and small barbs for the Asian..what puffers from this different places could go into community tanks..that don't get huge! if any....

Puffers and communities normally dont appear together in the same sentence...

But of all the puffers the South American Puffer is considered the most friendly and prefers to be in groups of 3 or more...

The only problem with them is even with constant hard shell diet, they may still require teeth trimming around twice a year...

Colomesus asellus is the sci name you want to look for. The other cool thing is that they are completely freshwater.
