What ray is this really?

I have 2 of these rays, former named "false yepezi", but what are they really? When Constellata was mentioned in another thread, i saw simularitys in pattern and spines, i dunno.. Just got me thinking. They came from peru btw.

Orb possibly since there pattern can vary, also has tall set eyes. I usually call them yepesi though

Ive used the name yepezi myselfe, but really they look far from the real yepezi

Hey tor.

Its an undescribed motoro type species.

Its is often sold as yepezi/sp. yepezi.

They get pretty big. I was sent a pic some time ago by a good friend showing a 60 cm+ female caught and offered to him by a local fisherman.

To me they came in as Hystrix 1,5 year ago, i can already tell that they get big! Has grown ALOT, i think the has trippled her size, if not even more, on record time!
