What salinity level should I keep to treat ick?

The sticky in here says the salinity should be dropped down 13ppt to 1.013
But I'm starting out with a level of 1.022 and the sticky is starting out with 1.027. Should I drop mine by 13ppt or just drop it to 1.013 and leave it there.
