Alright so i currently have pool filter sand in my 75 gal but after seeing the effect of how black sand brings out the color of my fish in my 20 gal i kind of want to switch to black sand. So should i switch to black sand or keep the pool filter sand?

Btw i have a wolf fish and tiger Oscar in the 75 and i wanted to get the wolf fish darker with the sand.

Go black n don't LOOK BACK!

black moon sand I regret not dong that for my 150 gallon... :(

But i've also seen Red sand to do very well too.. Brown/red sand..

I just switch from light gravel to black colorquartz and regret not doing it from the start. All of my fish look much more colorful on the black sand.

I have black and I love it but switching would be a hassle

Yes it is a lot of work to get all the sand out with out taking out the water but i think i could do it in about a hour, i got about half out last night and it only took about 30 mins. I really like how the black sand made my pickerel darker and jack dempsey much more darker and colorful shes almost a purple color.
