Hello all.

What type of sharks could I keep in a 6'x4'x2' pond? The most commonly available fish here are Australian shovelnose sharks, port jacksons, bamboos, epulattes, wobbies.

Not sure if you can get them in Australia but I've seen many happy chain dogfish in aquariums. They don't get big, they can breathe without swimming, and they look nice. They also successfully breed them in captivity (at least at the South Carolina Aquarium).

chain cats would be awesome if you could find them, and chill the pond.
you could do most if not all of the bamboos/catsharks. i'd personally go for coral cats [breeding project] or an eppie[pair?]. stretching it a little though.
are you able to upgrade at any later time?

Hi guys.

Thanks for the imput. I don't have this particular pond ATM, but it's the biggest I can find unfortunantly, so I thought i'd ask.

I'm not sure about the chain cats, but I will research. I can upgrade in the future if need be. I could just join them to make the pond like 10' long.

u could keep all of them as long they under 30cm or so
do gotta upgrade tank for portjackson
do know it will be to small for the port jackson when they mature
catshark they stay under 70cm mostly whitespotted even smaller
same with bamboo but normaly they get like 107 cm
wobbies and epulattes also round 110cm so they could do a while in that pond but u better of with 1 or 2 bamboo or epulates or catsharks indeed
i order these myself also or a port jackson if they can get it
they are going in a temp 6x2x2 exspecting them anyday now :headbang2

did u get any already?
