What should/can I do? long but worth it read!

My lfs has a 10 gal with three pacu........When I first saw them i thought they were pretty. One had an ulcer i brought it to their attention. I just went in today, one pacu was dead and swollen! the ulcer pacu had like 4 or 5. The other was in the back just sketched the eff out! they have a wrinkey dink filter that is BARELY trickling water out of it. I called the guy to the back away from other customers in the store. It was the same guy he looked all happy and must have realized mid stride who i was lol! He dropped his head i said WTF IS WITH THAT TANK? he said uhhhhhhhh.. I dont know. I said can you at least remove the dead one.......and get this.......he says ........WHEN MY BOSS COMES BACK I'LL ASK??????????????????????????????:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: I started to steam a lil i waited for the boss.....she said 29.99 please.....:ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: I said no effing way! i told them they could give them to me..... i have some stuff and a spare ac 110, they are like 3.5" (the two living ones).......can I call the cops or animal control.....or like the aspcca? what would you guys do?
 
I guess fish aint furry enough.


I wish they did tho. Heck if there was such a thing il volunteer and repo peoples tanks and fish.

i think you can, they are animals after all.

if a guy can get his girlfriend charged and fined for animal cruelty by dumping bleach in an oscars tank, well then......you get the idea :)

Yeah, i was livid, poor lil fishies......they have em at pets-k-mart real cheap. They are the worst of the worst......I will take photos if you guys wanna see em.......Delgado are you saying the police would want to get involved? I will go to the station (its across the street from my house) and see if they want to do anything.

No, i checked.


The place i work at has a animal control ranger on speed dial and he would ALWAYS show up when we have a report because hes good friends with us and used to work there ect.

And the cruelty under aquatic pets are not enforced.
