So when spring rolls around i am getting a 180g tank and would like to add maybe couple more fish or a single fish. I was either thinking:
1 peacock bass or
1 dat or
1 birchir or
a couple other rare south or central american cichlid.

I am planning on adding a flagtail too.
But my current stock is
3 oscar
2 convicts
1 green terror
1 jack dempsey
1 chocolate pleco

What do you think? im afraid that a peacock bass would eat the convicts but i dont know. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I would add the bichir if i added any of the fish you listed, the rest + the curent stock would be eventually to crowded and or the water would become to hard to keep in the proper range, it is only going to be eighty gallons more i would keep the stock as is, or save up more $ until fall and go for a 200 or 300 gallon tankor diy a 400 gallon.

go for rare ca/sa like i am
check out my thread and see if you like anything!
p.s if you are going for a peacock bass
you could try cichla kelberi even though they can be pricey
but well worth it

i like the bichirs but my girlfriend doesn't like them so causes a few problems, a dat wouldn't work? don't know much about them. sorry

bro i understand you need to ask questions
but use the search bar,
Dats might work!
might not
your stocklist involves cichlids SO
stick to cichlds plain and simple
