Due to a sudden opportunity to renovate my basement, I may be forced to part with my current tank setup. It'll be for quick sale so i can't ask too much....but would like a reasonable amount.

72x18x27 150 gallons.

Its an old tank that i resealed more than 10 years ago. there are definitely scratches, some that might buff out(i never tried).......this isn't your living room showpiece.

Iron stand with MDF panels cut and stained to make shelves.

2 Emperor 400s ......well used

mutliple buckets of black gravel. (tank currently has a mix of black gravel and a much smaller amount of crushed coral to buffer)

2 300 watt heaters puchased 3 months ago.

20 gallon hospital tank and small aqua clear

current stock
10"+ albino oscar, 9 " bandded leporinus, 6" super red severum, The nicest JD ive ever had 6", 6 silver dollars(3-4"), 3 convicts(1 is male), 4" green terror.

What would be a reasonable amount to ask for everything as 1 package?

My 180 is over 20 yrs old and has outlasted the stand. If I had to sell the 180 I would definitely sell it for half or less of what I paid for it. I paid $800.00 for the tank, stand, glass lids, and strip lights.

Most of the tanks I had when living in the midwest, in the US (in the 100 to 150 gal range, I paid about $100 each for.
Old filters you might get $5 for.
Gravel, old heaters, stuff like that would need to be thrown in, unless you get a noob.

Around my neck of the woods, the Midwest, average going price is $1 a gallon. Less is the tank needs work or is imperfect surface wise. As for the fish, that’s always in the eye of the beholder.

Dollar per gallon up to 75 gallon usually. After that the price goes way up. The glass alone drives the price up IMO. A tank like that has probably 1/2” glass and would at least be worth 300 bucks just for the glass. That would be my starting point anyway..

I can see that to a point. I scored a 125 that just needed one bead of Caulk to seal the rim on... seller offered it for $50. Was a heavy sucker but definitely a score. Comes down to what you want to get it gone for and not feeling ripped off in the process.
