So at first i wanted to breed festae, i still do because of there colors. But they take soooooo long to grow i do not have the patience to wait XD. Then i have been looking around and thought about umbees. I have a 150g which ik is to small for life but should be ok for a longish time, right? I will access to a 800g tank so i dont have to worry about not having a big enough tank for them. Should i get a bunch of gorrilus blues and grow them out? I heard the grow much faster than festae. Is that true? Also, if you have any advice as to where to get some blues let me know. And any advice on breeding them. Thanks everyone!

first off i think it will be much more rewarding keeping a pair you can keep in your 150 for life, secondly its alot of work shifting all the babys as they grow esspecially as the stores wont usually take them until they are 2 inches here in the uk.... i would say to try something like cubans, one of my personal favourites or grammodes... maybe a nice group of single species africans if you are looking for colour?

Around here lfs take babies at 1". My aunt will have 3-4 800g tanks set up and im stocking all of them. She knows what she wants in two so i have the 3rd to what ever i want to stock it with. I really like umbees so i might do a pair in my 150 then sepperate the 800 and keep them in part of that. Also, i dont like africans so there a no. Im doing a grammode pair in a 55/75 after i get my 150 settled.
