in my 35 gallon tank, i have a crap load of baby (sub-adults, some are ready to breed:eek:) jewel cichlids. once they are gone, i don't know what i'm going to do. as far as i'm concerned, i have a few options:

1. grow out some festae
2. breed other fish (rarer than jewels lol)
3. get a pacman frog (i'm leaning towards this one right now)
4. get other herp

if you vote for options 2 or 4, please tell me what you would suggest i get, and if you vote for 3, can you give me some tips on keeping pacmans (men? lol)

i'm probably not going to do the festae thing, because something might come up, and i won't be able to get a large enough tank in time

Im thinking Pacman!! They are SUPPER cool and dont need much but-especally once they get big-they move around and such. The only bad thing to them is that you can really only house one per tank!

Or you could always go with a tree frog tank.....Cubans, Dumpys, and that sort!! Or even some of the smaller ones....Greens and such! (I dont know that much about tree frogs just that one of the guys that I work with has Dumpys and some others in a really cool set up!)

get some cresties or leos

Personally? Geckos or Schiender's Skinks.

Wouldn't go with Crocodile Skinks though. No offense, as awesome as they are, they just don't adapt well to captivity.

One of your personal favorites Kioka, a Mabuya would also fit nicely in there:D Another great herp would be a fire salamander :naughty: See them from time to time on kingsnake

i voted other. while i think pacmans are cool i dont think they will use all the space of a 35. i would go with a pair trio of whites treefrogs. maybe 2-3 whitelipped treefrogs. the crested geckos are a good idea.
