I want to expand with different types of plants i have millions of java fern in my 125 that i disperse into other tanks but i would like something different. Any suggestions?

well i am moving the fish from my 125 to a new tank 150g and i have to buy everything including lights, gravel or sand, filtration... all i have is a tank and lids. i will be putting my pbass, rtc, and florida spotted gar. they dont really mind the java fern and it is attached to lava rock. i am looking for more plants that will grow tall and plants that float to provide some cover.
But RTCs aren't exactly appropriate for planted tank setups because of their ability to thrash anything. Anubias and floating plants will do but that's all there is for those fish of yours.
