I have an 10in arrowana that is living with a 7-8in red tail catfish.They been living together for about 5 months.I got the red tail catfish at 3in. yes i know how big they can grow to.Anyway my question is should i be worried about this mix? Because my catfish is starting to eat its tankmates.

i dont have experiance w/ arrowana...but the rtc that i've dealt w/ (not my own but i've spent plenty of nights trying to help its owner keep it from killing tankmates or breaking heaters and filters....so yes dealt w/) is aggressive. i've seen it shred fins of fish that were bigger than it was...seemingly just for spite. mostly just because he has a bad attitude. i would assume that it is more than possible, maybe probable that the rtc will start chewing on/stressing the arrowana (after dark) though, admitedly i dont know anything about arrowana...rtc can be mean.
well, the arrow wont get eaten while its bigger than the cat...but he may get harassed...tore up...and that could lead to death....how big is the tank and how do the two interact....
Just from my experience with my RTC it does not bother other fish at all. I have a couple Oscars with it and they harass the RTC, but the RTC just swims away.
Of course anything that fits in the RTC mouth is gonna be eaten. Or if the RTC thinks it can fit in its mouth it could cause some damage trying. Also I dont know much about how fast Arowanna grow, but RTC grows very fast it may outpace it?
