Well I have known for quite some time now that my Red Bay Snooks (Petenia Splendida) were a pair, and lately the female has gotten quite fat, but this morning i noticed the female/male tubes were out, i came back later and just as i was walking up i noticed the female started to lay the eggs, when she was done the male began spraying the eggs, but the interesting thing is is that my male salvini came over and also began to spray the eggs, Now i have never hatched or rose fry before, so i want to know if it is worth the hassle in the long run, I just got done with school and can devote the appropriate amount of time to the fry and especially since their could be some snook x salvini eggs growing there this could be an interesting event. So should i do it. There is about 300-400 eggs

WOW! A salvini x red bay snook cross... This should be very interesting. If you get any fry that's not pure, keep it. At least to know how they look like. If I lived closer, I'd get some fry, both pure and hybrid (if these are viable). I want a RBS badly... And love salvinis. Keep us updated.

Best regards.

Daniel.

If you go the time GO FOR IT! good luck:woot:
