I have had my flowerhorn on hear when it had hex.
it is now better and jsut started eating yesterday.
now i come back for shopping and he has pink hanging out
from his anus. what should i do?

I'm facing the same problem too.. Add epsom salt and stop feeding your fish for a few days, then feed your fish with pellets soaked in Epsom salt.

thanks mate I have read this already and it was a big help.

yeh this comes out and goes back in. so i dont know.
i added some epsom salt or what eva its called and been feeding on
the pelletes the gave been soaked on water and epsom salt.
i will try to get some pics up but i have lost my phones usb lead haha.
i will take some now and find a way to put them up.

pikey - that will happen sometimes with a prolapse. It will retract & pop back out again. In severe cases it will sometimes never retract, and the fish can eventually die.
