My FX5 quit pumping out water the other day and until this evening I was not going to have time to fool with it. I left my CFS700 running and 2 power heads. I've been having an issue with the button on my CFS700 and it keeps shorting out n shutting off well last night at 1am it completely kicked off. So I have no filtration except for 2 power heads on my 220! What should I do? Stock is 2- 11" Orino Pbass 1- 9" Kelberi, a 9" Motoro, 8" datnoid, and a 14" Gar.

water changes and air stone until you can get them up and running. the bio will stay alive as long as wet.. or you could but it in mesh bag and submerge in tank until filters are running. good luck man

Thanks man! I just did a water change 2 nights ago ill just do another tonight

u should get some filtration rockin asap!
I would do a wc to start.
If it were me i would take the media outta the filters and put it in the tank in front of one of the powerheads until you get ur filters working...or get new ones.

I'm at work now I can't do anything til I get home. I am going to see if my buddy will run by and try to fix it for me.

Just lie and say u have an emergncy and must leave work. Go buy an external canister filter on the way home

Should my Odyssea still be under warranty? I've only had it 6 months. Idk how I am going to fix it

Bio will die with no circulation. Drain the canister before restarting.
If the motor is not running, connect a power head to push water through it till you get a new one. Be cafeful, using the power head will put the canister in positive pressure as oppose to it's normal negative operating pressure. Seals may leak.

Thanks Ken. I had my gf take the media out and put it in the tank so is should still be ok when I get home. Also had her hook up an air stone. Before I left this morning I aimed one of the power heads up for a surface agitation. Going to make sure to get the Fx5 going tonight and try and fix the switch on the odyssea
