What should I do?

My pair of electric blue's spawned.I waited 2 weeks and decided to put the female in her own tank.while transporting her to the 20 gal I set up,She released the fry in the bucket.I put them all in including the female.
question is --should I leave her with the fry or remove her?
any help would be great,thnx

Just wondering but what condition are the fry in when she released them because I maybe in this same situation

Looks to be about 20 of them.about 1/4 inch long.They look healthy.
I've never tried to breed.This was one of those deals where you buy the male and get the female for free.I usually try to keep mostly males.
I think for now I'll leave her with them and see what happens.

Nope, pull out the female. After she releases she is just as likely to eat them as any other fish. The fry will be just fine and you can put the female back and hopefully you won't have any problems from reintroducing her since she hasn't been gone long.

I ended up pulling her out last night.stayed up late and watched,and she actually seemed like she was not going to eat them.But they are so cute,I couldnt risk it.
What should I feed these guy's?And how often?
I've never raised fry-I did put a piece of foam on my filter intake.

Baby brine shrimp and ground up flakes work well. 3-4 times a day.

Yah the other treads will tell all and more than you ever need to do. But from what I see you have done I think you are far on your way to doing things right.
