What should i feed my 4" Afro?

I just got it from a LFS and when i asked what they've been feeding the fish, all the info i got was "worms, sometimes also the sinking ones". I've got some brine shrimp for my feeder fishes that i've given to it but that doesn't seem substantial enough. It's a filter feeder so that makes my task harder.

Any suggestions?

blood worms, live-frozen or freeze dried black worms, chopped up earthworms, brine shrimp, peas( well mine took frozen peas)

If it's an african arowana you're talking about I would skip the feeders and brine shrimp and feed it strictly pellets i.e. Hikari Food Sticks.

Thanks for the input guys. Going to the store to look at some possible tank mates for the Afro and get some food.

It's really young if it takes pellets that's great but if not then he'll have to wait till it gets 6"...but that'd be two more weeks

Got another question about the food. I have to get something that sinks right? Cos' i bought Hikari Daphnia and it floats on the surface and my fish doesn't seem to notice it.
