Hey guys, i had my baby black aro for about a month now. He's about 4 inches. Still a baby. I use to feed him plankton( tiny little krills). Then I tried feeding him mealworms. And it seems that hes addicted to it. Should i keep feeding him that? Or switch back to little krills? Btw, i want him to grow fast and stay beautiful. Advice pleasee !

variety is best I would feed both the krill and meal worms. Introduce some quality flake food and pellets. Freeze dryed blood worms also work well. Also you can feed baby crickets.

With my baby black, he got to the point where he only wanted the crickets. So I completely stopped feeding the crickets until he would eat the other foods(took about a day). You don't want them to get hooked on just one food, so mix it up.

krill and mealworms are a good start.. after it grows bigger, you may (or i could say should) give him pellets.. its every aro keeper's dream that their aros will eat pellets..
