What should i feed my Synadontis Catfish

I got given this little guy, he is about 7 inches long. he has a really small mouth so i was wondering what kinds of food can i feed him.
he is my my 225 with a peacock bass, red devils, flowerhorns and some tinfoil barbs (all less than 6")

he used to be kept with oscars and they were only fed pellets, i dont want to throw in too much food to make a messy tank.

any help here. thanks


ALso - would he be okay tolive with my red tail catfish in a different tank? RTC is about 17"

Will eat shrimp pellets if you want to stick with only pellets. Mine really loves bloodworms.

I wouldn't put him in with the RTC, that wont work well.

i wouldnt put wid ur rtc it would mostlikely eat it he will eat small catfish pellets wich sink and the wont make a mess aswell

thanks for the suggestions, i'll go get some shrimp pellets soon.
i do have bloodworms, but my worry is that by the time it gets down to the bottom where the catfish is it has all melted and thereare no chunks left. AND it is eaten by then usually too... lol

my featherfin is a little vacume cleaner as soon as im feeding the other fish he is waiting there for his. i throw in quite a few pellets and flakes and he cleans em all up till he cant move much and just lays there even gets the little particals to that break off
