what should i get

hay every one. i have a 30 gal long, its 3/4 land and 1/4 water. i wanna get something thats kinda rare, but i want a pair so i can breed them. something cool, thats fun to look at, and they are easy to breed. well not to rare bc i dont wanna spend my whole pay check. so anyone have ideas and pics. thanks. anything from bugs, frogs, lizards, anything

I've always been a fan of poisen dart frogs. You could keep a nice little community in there. They are also pretty impresive to show off to people. I don't really know much about breeding them though.

and breeding dart frogs is not unheard of and i dont think that is hard just bewarned if you have kids that these are very poisonous keep your tank locked shut

That's a good site. I would also suggest looking for a reptile swap in your area. A lot of times you will find even better deals and no shipping to pay for.

Poison dart frogs also lose their toxicity in captivity, so there is no need to worry about being poisoned by them. Their poison comes from different enzymes extracted from their prey in the wild that are secreted out of their skin (most likely ants or other poisenous insects). Even wild caught specimens eventually lose their toxicity.

I still would not recomment tasting them/your fingers/their cage though, and it would probably still be a good idea to keep the kids away.
