norfolk, ne
I got some fish on aquabid in late october. The seller did not ship all my fish and not until late november. The only fish that survived was texas that is now a brute. We have been in contact since waiting for warmer weather, to re-ship. To make it up to me he wants to throw in some extra fish of my choice. I have a 150 gal aquarium along with several other aquariums. He mentioned a chocolate and salvini which are cool from what I seen. He will send me a festae (hopefully a male to go with my female) and a gold severum as bonus already. The original auction was for 4 green terrors and 3 texas. All wild caught. I only end up keeping a few. I just can't turn down free fish. any other suggestions on what to get.

The thing is, when you say "brute", is that he is a agressive fish, or big, or both? You have to consider, his size and agression level. He obviously is the 'King, of that tank. If you introduce, anything regardless of size, you will have trouble, and deaths. My suggestion is get the fish, that can hold thier own, like the festae, GT's and Texas. No Severums, they will be killed for sure. If all the fish you get shiped are small, I would suggest adding an egg crate divider, so that the "Brute" cant get to them and kill them. Grow them out on their side. That way they grow up together and used to each other, and in the same way, the "brute" will get used to seeing them. All though, once they are big enough, there will still be some trouble when you remove the divider, but at least, maybe, not to the point of a death??

about 8 inches and aggressive I have a pair of severums that are about similar size that own him but he chases other fish around nothing major. loves to attack my hand though the glass and show his teeth. fish that are arriving (4"-5") will go into a growout until bigger
