What should I get???

So, I was just given a free 25 gallon tank and I'm still wondering what to put in it. I was kinda thinking about getting into barbs, any suggestions?

I saw some Odessa Barbs at my LFS today, they looked very nice.

I've decided to do kribs and jewel cichlids heavily planted tank

warning, jewel cichlids are very mean.

I know that's why it's gonna be heavily planted. I read that jewels and kribs will stand up to eachother and usually noone gets hurt so I'm gonna have a krib pair and a jewel pair.
