I've only recently been going to "real fishing", before, I've only gone to sure catch trout and once catfish, which is boring. So, I go to this dock in a place called coyote point, and they say that they catch a lot of sturgeons, and to use raw chicken as bait. I trust them, but is there anything else sturgeon will go for? Sorry, I don't know specifically what type. I haven't gotten any bites yet, but I know that it will take a long time, even with the right bait.
What should I use for sturgeon?

trout row and salmon row are the best! cure it or just wrap it in a piece of nylon. they LOVE IT.
and BTW, Catfishing is the best fishing out there. you just havnt hooked a giant yet.
