what should I use to glue styrofoam together

I need to make a styrofoam cover for my sump but the styrofoam I have are not big enough so I need to glue multiple pieces together, which glue should I use? will silicone work?

Yes, silicone works great as an adhesive for styro....

Straight from Dow, manufacturer of Styrofoam (tm).

Low heat glue gun.
White craft glue.
