What size divider to buy for my 50-55gal?

The width of my tank is 12.5" outside, and from the insides of the glass walls, the width is 12", height is 20.5" top to bottom of black trims, I have 2" of sand substrate so I only need it high enough to keep my 7 inch dwarf snakehead from continuing to attack my 3 inch dwarfs. Where do I find a divider that meets my specifications? The holes cant be any bigger than safely, a quarter or so.

The Pennplax one I see here definately isnt tall enough.

Ok, I decided to take into consideration a DIY eggcrate divider. Question is, how does the suction cup stick to the eggcrate? I used the search engine and still couldnt find a pic of how it looks like together. Only one I saw is with pvc piping between the crate and suction cup, but thats way too much and I have no tools to work with.

just cut the eggcrate for a snug fit
put rocks along bottum
suction cups dont have to be attached just use one on either side 4 total
if your 55 has a center brace you could also use a ziptie to hold it there

Do I need a tool to cut eggcrate? because I have no tools at all. Are scissors ok?

i cut mine eggcrates with a needlenose plyers. works for me.

Use a nail file to smooth out the rough edges after the cut. No cut can be 100% smooth. Better safe than sorry!
