I know nothing about flower horn breeding after some advice. Recently bought four FH's a Thai silk and a small zz have been at it. At first I thought it was practice as female zz is only 2.5 " and Thai silk is 3.5" but there is slick attached to my back ground. Will this turn into fry or is it just practice?
Thanks for any input :)

Most female ZZ's can start breeding at 3 inches, males.. at around 5 inches to be fertile. Do some more research on breeding flowerhorns. Read up some older threads. If the female laid eggs with a 3.5" male, I doubt he's shooting anything. Let them grow out a bit before trying to breed them.

This pair produced about 35 fry. They were only about 4 inches long.

i say not that big i got my female zz to mate with my male zz female 3" male 5"

It was just practice no fry and also had to split the female from male as they terrorised the tank together. On another thread I asked can you keep multiple FH's general answer was 4 o found it to be one and rest hide and get super stressed
