What size heater should I use I have 1 100 watt 2 60 watt and a 200 watt and it's been running all day long with those in it all set to 90° it hasn't moved up from 60° since I started it at noon today it's now 11 pm ? Help I need to figure out if I need something bigger or if it just takes a long time to heat that much water?

I have three 300 watt heaters with a controller on my 450, works great. Just make sure your probe is in the same part of your system as the heaters are. Mine are in my sump which I think is pretty standard. That way if your pump fails you don't cook anything

It really depends on the temp in the room. My room is at 70* or so in the winter and one 250w will keep my 210 at 82. I added another one to get it to 88. When the temp in the room is 78* in the summer I may end up taking both heaters out.

I used to use a single 300w cheap glass heater, never had an issue but now I use a 800w titanium.

I would check your system because that doesn't sound right on not having any movement temp wise over that long of a period.

The tank is in my garage and it was 60 ° last night it's almost at 70° now so it is rising but slowly the water I put in was 50° probably why it's taking so long to heat up.

use 3 300watts or two 1000 watt titaniums. More the better. One big heater draws the same power as 6 smaller ones which draws the same as 2 big ones. Use a few bigger ones 300-1000watts and they will only turn on when needed. Run a controller

2x250 glass heaters on my ~350 gallon system. It holds temp well enough but heating is slow, so I am considering more wattage.

Just ordered an azoo 950 watt system comes with 2 probes and has an adjustable controller had good reviews so should work to hold Temps in winter months
