I'm gonna purchase a 75 gal acrylic soon with a corner built-in overflow. Question is i know theres 2 holes drilled but what size do you guys suggest for hole sizes? I just need to know that much then I can place the order.

If this helps, my stand is 48" long by 18" wide and the height of stand is around I think 20"? I'm gonna add as big of a w/d as I can. Anyone know how much one would run without media?

Could build yourself a DIY sump using an inexpensive 29G tank. Then either cut all the dividers yourself or have them made and put them in yourself.

Bigger is better. The tank manufacturer has made plenty and they will size it to what ever bulkhead fitting they are going to give you. If you are getting only the bare tank, you will need to know the dimensions of the bulkhead before the hole is cut. The dimensions vary by manufacturer, so no one can give you a correct answer. You will have to buy the fittings first. (Yes, it is insane when done like that. )

Figure out what size bulkheads you want first. Typically you can find out what size the hole/s in your tank has to be in advance from the manufacturer. It's nice to have the hole drilled "spot on" correct size, but you'll have some room for a LITTLE bit of error, especially for larger fittings since they have wider seal widths.

Here's a statement from glasscages. Do the holes to the largest size, as you can always put on reducers if you want smaller. But once drilled, then you can't go larger. This is what they told me when I asked for my 300G that I want.
I would suggest you have us drill for our regular size holes 1" supply and 1 1/2" return. You can always reduce down to 5/8" , but you can't go larger at a later time, when you realize the holes you've suggested are too small.
