What size is it safe to return psudotropheus to main tank?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what is a safe size for psudotropheus fry to be to return them to my main tank.

The biggest ones are nearly an inch long atm. Problem is I have a red empress holding atm who I want to move out of the main tank asap and don't have a spare tank to move her into

depends on the mouth size of the other fish. if they cant eat the babies, you can probably put them in, as long as you have plenty of NEW hiding places that you added with the babies. might want to get the predatory red empress out first though! lol
