Its not the size of the tank that counts, it's how you use it. At least that's what I tell myself. :)
i also tell myself that:) everyone wants massive tanks but be happy with what you got

100 to 200 gallons = Big

201 to 499 gallons = Really Big

501 to 999 gallons = Huge

1000 to 4,999 gallons = Massive

over 5,000 gallons = /V\ONSTER

I agree with this. I think that a 55 to 75 is your standard large tank most people accept and would easily own. Then you get to 75-100, which is getting big, but for a lot of people, it's still not big, not that sense you get of something being truly large. When I got my 125g and was able to step into it like it was a telephone booth, that's when I realized, "wow, this is big. Almost too big."

i have to say anything bigger than a 100 is monster..
IMO
ofcourse the bigger the better though

I agree. I would consider a 240g heavily planted tank with an RTG and a few dats much more ]v[onster than a 5,000g with a bare-bottom and a single goldfish, so you really can't judge a tank just based on its size. JMO

So what category would a 500 gallon tank fall into? Also, according to your post, less than 1% of MFKers actually have monster tanks (based on a poll I posted a while back).
