What size of pump for a 75 gallon?

I just got a 75 gallon Marineland with corner overflow today. It says the overflow is rated for 700 gph. If I used a herbie style would I be able to go over 75 gph? Anyways I would prefer the herbie style for silence, but didn't know if I went with a bigger pump if it'd over run the overflow. Thanks.
