I am in the process of building a 3500-5000 gallon pond and im wondering if i can keep a channel catfish in there? It will be with a couple turtles, largemouth bass maybe, and some other fish. Any ideas of the stock? It will most likely freeze over in the winter as i probably wont de ice it. So i am going to catch some largemouth bass and channel cats from my pond in new york and bring them to this pond when im done building it Its around 3600 gallons i believe. Well thats the footprint of the pond. What kind of catfish can i keep in this size pond? Please share!
I also got rid of my turtles that were in my fish tank so they arent a worry. They were sold so they arent included with the eastern painted turtles i will put in it. Thanks!
