What size tank should I get for my Gars?

Im a owner of 2 16'' gator gars.They are currently housed in 125 gallon tank. Ive found a 180 and a 240 gallon tank on craigslist. Which one should I go with?

Bigger the better, Either offer the same width it won't make a big diff. If you could find a 30" wide tank I'd say go with that, but between the 2 it just comes down to preference and the deal ofcourse

Sorry I missed that they were gator gars and assumed they were Florida gars, neither tank listed will buy you much time. I'd skip the kinda big tank and try to find a beast tank those fish get huge!(as you are probably starting to realize)

You should just get a big Rubbermaid stock tank; it will be a bit cheaper and will buy you more time.
