I am having a hard time deciding the dimensions for the tenecor tank I will be ordering very soon! I am trying to decide between a few dimensions.
First dimensions 10'x4'x2' Second dimensions 12'x4'x18" Third dimension 10'x4'x18! The stock will be 3 BD leos and 4 regular leos :D and possibly a pair of p14's :naughty: What do you think about depth 2' or 18" I have only kept rays in tanks greater then 2' deep. I know 12' will be nice but then comes the chore of moving it:eek:. Please help guys!

Bigger is better.

10' is a more common size for sheet acrylic so I think it could be significantly cheaper than the 12' tank.

2' deep looks great and is still easy to work on. I wouldn't go deeper than 30". For sure 2' is better than 18"

Can't stand working on my 30'' H tank.. So my vote would be for 18'' H. But, if you go w/ a 10-12' long tank, 18" might look a little short.

My Vote is for 10x4x2. If you get one too big the stock will be too sporadic in it to appreciate them. . . . However, this problem could also be used as a reason to get a larger tank and thereby more stock.

good luck with tenecor..they took forever to build my 1100..dont think i'd use them again..i would do a 12x4x2 but the 12' sheet may not be common.

Call me crazy, but I like the 10x4x18". Rays don't need the extra 6" of height. My ray tank is 6x4x1.5. There's also much less pressure on the acrylic. And less weight to carry. The only caveat is that if there's a chance of keeping other fish in the future, you've got more options w/the 2' height.
