I am thinking I might be able to get around 150 gallons to 200 gallons. Would that be enough for an arrowna? I am thinking silver or black. If possible. The only other tank mate would be a pleco and ornate bichir. Also I am thinking of getting a small arrow about 3-5 inches. What should I feed them to get the best growth out em and coloration?

Looks like you need to do a lor of reading on this site. All of the information you are looking for can be found using the search bar. I have not had the fortune to own one of these amazing fish therefore I do not feel qualified to give you advice on what I am not sure.

You will find great information and great people on this site. Only things that are required from you are patience and an open mind. Always be willing to learn and do things right.

Its not the gallons that matters its the footprint thats what everyone will tell you. for asian aros I say a 6x2 for silvers and blacks 7x3 IMO. Feed smaller aros whatever theyll eat until they get big enough to train onto pellets. Good luck roamin' through the forum to find more info.

The stickies on here cover all the basics of what you need to know. Good Luck.
