The LFS here seems to think a minimum tank size for what I have listed in My Tank Setup minus 2 bass so 3 total and added 2 datnoids, 2 delhezi bichirs and a tigrinus catfish is a 240g 72"x30"x26". But I was thinking more along the lines of a 96" minimum lenth. Could I get away with a 240g?

IMO that tank wouldn't be big enough for a Tigrinus.

7' by 3' footprint would be necessary for it eventually.

But, assuming that 30" is the width for that 240gallon, that would be plenty for the fish you have listed.

Edit: oops, i read Tigrinus, and thought Pseudo Tigrinum.

That tank would be good enough for a lonnng time.

tHAT would be dope. I wanna get a tank 300g+ when i get out of this little baby house. Im only supposed to have one tank...but I have 4. NOthing too big though. And one at my brothers house.

i'm still not sold on the fact that a 240 is big enough. something about 6 possible 24" fish, 6 large bichirs(about 20") and a 14" gold nugget in a 6 footer or even a 7. and i forgot about the dats.
