what size tank would i need for a Paroon Shark redtail cat clown knife and giant gourami ??

For life? I wouldnt go less then 1,000.

I agree that you are going to need a very large tank in the end. With the RTC in there, you are going to end up with a really big RTC...and only a RTC. (It's growth rate will out pace the others and they have a reputation for eating tank mates).
