well what type of tank are you setting up much of the type of setup your going to use as well as how many gallons will all factor into what would be a good investment to get the most bang for your buck and do the most work for the setup you want to have.

A 125 fowlr tank. I'm looking at the coralife super skimmer right now. The 220 model.

The reef octopus is one of the better skimmers on the market. Yes they cost a bit more than some. However you get what you pay for.
