i took this from a photo from an old thai fishing magazine.
 
Too big for a striata,and too bulky i think,all striatas i have seen are slender...i have been wrong before tho...
 
No its a Micropeltes. You will notice the markings if you look very carefully, and the body shape makes it obvious. The bottom side of the micropeltes is more rounded that that of a straita, wheras a straita is flat (being that its more of a bottom dweller whereas the micropeltes is on the mid-range to top). Also a straita would be black on the top and white on the bottom.

And by the way, That fish is 18.5 kilos.
