What tank is a better grow out

So I am in the process of getting a 8' by 4' tank but want to start growning out a black. I have two tanks and need to know which would be better.

I have a 120 gallon 4' by 2' that is in my living room and will get alot of traffic, which I think would help in the long run helping with the social part

or

I have a 135 gallon 6' by 18" that is in my garage with very little traffic, but does the 6' foot print make up for there hardly ever being anyone by the tank?

Either tanks would be fine, by rule of thumb you'll get a couple more inches in the 6 footer over the 4 footer. The arowana would need moved out of the 135g at 18" and out of the 120g at 16". The high traffic may be helpful or may become a problem if the aro is very skittish, and getting itself injured.
