I have temporarily moved my fish to the garage due to a remodel before my new tank comes in. I live in FL and we are getting into the hot season. Tank was normally kept at 78 inside, and today in the garage was reading just under 84. At what point is the water getting too hot and need to be cooled? I have a silver Aro, Kelberi PB, and a clown knife

The Silver Aro and Peacock Bass should be fine but may be a little warm for the Clown Knife. Hopefully the temperature doesn't get hotter than that or fluctuate too much.

I figure we have PBs and Clownknifes in Lakes in South FL where the water gets at least that hot so I assume they will be fine and you guys seem pretty confident on the Aro so I’m sure we’ll be fine. I think that’s (84) probably the max the tank water will get to as it’s been record highs (90+) for this time of year the last few days and it’s supposed to cool down a little. I’ve got a couple of frozen water bottles that I can float if I need to bring the temp down and have a heater if it cools off too much.
How hot will your garage get? I know 84 shouldn't be an issue at least for that aro.

If that's the case, I really think you are fine. It's not required, but may be get more surface agitation with your returns for oxygen exchange.
. Thanks, yeah I added a few air stones when we moved figuring the extra oxygen couldn’t hurt with the stress of the move
