If you mean tha Astronotus Occelatus, it's 13,9 dgrs C, that wouldt be 56,84 dgrs F.
Below this temp an oscar will die.
If it is Cicla Monoculus you mean, I don't know.

Well he said peacock so i doubt hes talking about an oscar lol???
 
better to keep them at 86-90...
higher temps = faster growth,fights off disease (especially when you feed feeders),and they seem to prefer it that way?
 
thanks guys, i was just wondering if it would be possible to keep them outside, but not at those temps
