what temps do you keep your tank at?

i just switched mine down to 75, to help on elec bill. was at 77 but ya. what temps do you keep your tank at?

wow you all keep your temps high! i would think 85 all day would be a lil to much on the fish. but im keeping mine on 75 all day. hey, atleast im able to use my heater!

i use to keep my temps around 82 to 84 when i was living on my own and with roomates but here we have a woodstove that would keep the house at 80 for the summer ( or 75 ) which is good for me and my heater as they wont have to run for much.

I keep mine between 78 and 79 - it seems like a good compromise as some of my fish might like it a degree or two warmer and a few would like it cooler.

83-84F My fish in the living room seem less active at 75F which is what it is at because the heaters are crapping out. Gonna buy a new one tomorrow afternoon and bump it up to at least 80F

well ima leave the temp at 75 for now to see how it affects the elec bill. if it doesnt bother the bill then ill bump it up a few degrees. but the house stays around 70 so since the fishtank is a few degrees warmer then the house temp it shouldnt bother the heater as much right?

78 seems like the sweet spot in my tank.
