Any guesses on what this ray is? I’ll say what she was sold to me as after a couple people take some guesses! Anyways this is the last ray I’ll be picking up for a little while…probably

At first glance I thought BD cross motoro hybrid cause the base color is off in the first pic. Most likely stress from shipping though.
2nd glance & pics 2 & 3 looks more like classic Leopoldi.
Does it have spots or pattern on the underside?

One of the more experienced ray keepers here can verify, but I am pretty sure pure Leopoldi do not have spots/pattern on the underbelly

Looks like a classic BD tbh before all the big spit and crazy patterns.

She was sold to me as a pure henlei from a reputable ray seller. He said he personally searched for this p12, his intent was to be able to offer something different and hard to acquire. He also said he only knows of 1 person breeding pure hens that can ship to USA which is insane. I’m hoping to find a pure male to get some more pure classics back into the hobby

I think I was wrong in what I mentioned in post #4 about pure BD rays not having patterned under belly. I found this old video of my pure BD and he definitely has a pattern on the underside of his disc. My bad
