what the growth rate of?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine seem to grow about 1/2" per month, although they are starting to grow faster lately (they are around 14" across now).

Growth rate on any fish varies with diet and water quality. So there really is no answer to the question.

dats are no problem... and as rook said there are alot of factors on growth...all conditions perfect lots of swimming space, great foods and pristine water they will grow quick

I had a motoro go from 4.5"-5" to 10"-12" in just under 6 months to give an idea what lots of food and water changes can result in. Also we must not forget growth has alot to do with genetics too.

i still consider this theory...

I see where your coming from with it being theory but think about it. It's like that with everything. Our growth is determined by genetics. Also dogs and cats, so why not fish too?
