What the h*** is that ??

this polypterus had been very light-colored and had some white fungus growth on his "nose"
I put him in a hospital tank with anti-fungus meds and two days later he looks like this? something hairy red stuff....

Does anybody know what this is, never seen something like this before?

Maybe the medication you are using has stained the fungus brown?

yes that sounds about right, since it looked just like fungus but was red...

but the fish died
