:eek:so a few weeks ago, 3-4 weeks, i got 3 small angels, they seemed fine but was not showing signs of excited eating, just a few nibbles here and there, i figured that they werent used to the food i use, so i let it go. Last week, one died, the day before he/she died, he/she was "sitting" down at the bottom alot, doesnt seem all that excited, when i found him/her, he/she was laying at the bottom gasping, but the other 2 were fine, so i though that it must be the pecking order stress, but i tried to save him/her anyways but to no avail. Today, i found the second one like that too, but in a little better condition, being able to swim a little and all. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM???
1. Starving themselves to death? I just bought some bananaworm culture on ebay, waiting to ship
2.Internal Parasite Problems??
3. Pecking order??
PS: they nibbles and spit out food, not enthusiatic about eating, hiding some times.....
HOW TO TREAT THIS????????????

oNLY the biggest one is left, also the most beautiful so im kinna glad, but i moved the sick one to the 10 gallon where im treating ich right now, soo???? what to do??

,temp is 76-78f, i dont have a test kit yet, still saving, i know its important, its a 35 gallon, last time i did a water change was when i got the tank, which was 5 weeks ago??? it was a 100% water changed, i know the bacteria could of died during the week that i didnt have the fish, but there were some dead snails i left in there which could of saved some bacteria, but i wouldnt bet on it (i removed teh snails right after i put the fish in) i dont know when i can get to a pet shop, im going on a trip away in the weekens for 2 days so i think im going to do a big water change soon
yes i know i did some bad things but.... i got no excuse, say what you want, i deserved it..i know:nilly: =P
PS: my cardinals seems to be doing fine
oh i forgot, one of my cherry barb is getting an infection from the ich, seems to be going away but how do i treat it

Frequent modererately sized water changes are beneficial. Complete water changes should be avoided.
76-78F is quite low for angels. Now, with a fungal infestation, the tank should have the temp bumped up to 84-86F. Be sure to increase / add aeration when the temp is elevated. If the fish were already stressed prior to the fungal infection, harsh meds will probably kill them. I'd treat with maroxy or methylene blue. Once the fungus disappears, treat for another 10 days. Once treatment is complete, slowly lower the tank to 80-81F and keep it there. Your angels will do better.
Also, offer them frequent feedings of bloodworms/blackworms to bulk them up (especially for young angels).
Good luck

it could also possible be the food, like when you mix puppy food with adult dog food when a puppy goes from being a puppy to an adult.
