What the Heck is on this Juruense?

Picked this guy up about 2-3 weeks ago and noticed this when he hit the water. Its on both sides. Shop had lots of light but this specific tank had no light although you could see just fine inside... he looked fine and was a good price, so I grabbed 2 for the same amount. Dont think the Seller knew/knows he had this. We were chopping it up so I never inspected him 100%D)

Eating fine and acting like a normal Juru... just has the crummy pattern.

I thought it would go away but its not going no where

Could it be Ammonia Burn?

Why are you taking him back?
he's a survivor .. he deserves better than squandering away in an LFS

Why would I not take back something I over paid?? If the seller gives me some kind of credit/better deal he can stay
I'm sure we will work something out cause I doubt he can sell a injured fish

Having ammonia in the tank, or a heater without a guard can cause these kind of burns.

Thanks. My plan is to try n keep him but it's up to the shop. Im sure no one would over pay for a sick/injured fish either
